The Midlands Gospel Partnership is not just a talking shop. We plan to achieve our objectives by organising events and activities designed to meet the needs of local churches.
TRAINING FOR MINISTRY
The Midlands Ministry Training Course is one of a number of regional training courses designed to help people understand and teach the bible, so that they will be better equipped to serve in a wide variety of ministries. The course started in September 2004 and can be taken either over 1 or 2 years. More details can be found on the course web site

DAY CONFERENCE FOR LOCAL CHURCH LEADERS
We plan to continue to organise an annual day conference for church leaders inviting well known speakers to encourage and challenge us to persevere in biblical ministry and help build gospel-centred fellowship between local churches.
9:38 APPRENTICE SCHEMES
We plan to encourage churches in the region to start 9:38 Apprentice Schemes.
THEOLOGY TRAINING DAYS
We plan to organise a series of Saturday theological training days, probably in association with Oak Hill College, aimed to equip the members of local congregations to think theologically about contemporary challenges facing our churches.
TRAINING FOR CHURCH MEMBERS
In the next two years we plan to organise events which will train and equip the members of local churches for biblical ministry.
YOUTH ACTIVITIES
In the next two years we plan to organise a number of regional training events for youth and children’s workers to encourage Biblical youth ministry in the region. Find out more.
CHURCH PLANTING
In the longer term we hope that the Midlands Gospel Partnership will help facilitate and implement a strategic vision for church planting across the region, to ensure that there is a thriving gospel witness in every area.
